Zack is the Eastern Kentucky Field Director at Edelen Renewables, leading community engagement and clean energy development across the region. A lifelong Appalachian, he previously served as a Community Engagement Officer at the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, where he advanced disaster recovery efforts and strengthened local nonprofit networks.
Before his work in renewable energy, Zack taught middle school social studies with Teach for America Appalachia and coached the Hazard High School track and field team.
A graduate of the University of Pikeville with a B.S. in History and Political Science, Zack is dedicated to creating opportunity and progress in Eastern Kentucky. Outside of work, he enjoys live music, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, and spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter.
